Farrier's Formula has been the leading supplement for the treatment of poor hoof growth for many years, but as the product is developed and produced by the reputable company Data Lab in the USA, there have been a number of transport costs associated with sales in Denmark. These have now been minimised, as the new formula means that only half the amount needs to be fed. This has made it much more cost-effective, and the smaller amount/weight also benefits nature in the form of far less CO2 emissions.

Berger's Smedie is now an importer and distributor of Farrier's Formula, which has long been a desire of Data Lab, as they want to distribute their products through professionals with extensive knowledge of horses' hooves.

Farrier's Formula Double Concentrate is available in a 5 kg refill bag. 5 kg is equivalent to 60 days of treatment for a 500 kg horse, or 120 days of maintenance.  

Farriers Finish Hoof Dressing kills surface bacteria and fungal organisms and penetrates the hoof wall, killing anaerobic bacteria and fungi deep within the tissue. The active ingredient in Farriers Finish Hoof Dressing is an organic iodine solution that penetrates the tissue with a highly penetrating base tea tree oil. The dressing is non-alkaline and does not irritate the hoof tissue unlike many other care products.
