Gauze and cotton fabric compress with a thick layer of highly absorbent cotton wool enclosed in an absorbent cotton gap layer. Intended for use as a secondary wound dressing on heavily exuding wounds, lacerations and surgical wounds. Provides excellent cushioning for pressure point relief. Also provides additional warmth and protection for patient comfort. Suitable for use in orthopedic applications where comfortable padding is desired. Can be cut to size for custom use.
