Trained as a farrier in 2009 at Bøgedal Beslagsmedie, employed as a journeyman until 2010, when Levi started his own company.
In 2024, Levi started at Berger's smedie
. Levi is a very competent farrier.
“I chose to become a farrier because I like the old craft and want to do the best for the horse.
I find it exciting that everyday life is never the same and that I can always learn something new. I try to explain to my clients what I do for the horse so that they understand. I like that there are new challenges with each horse, for example with fittings that make it walk better or prevent it from losing shoes.
I like to make sure to speak nicely to my customers and clean up after myself when I'm done. I really appreciate that the horses are inside when I arrive, because then they are dry and not too dirty, and there is no waiting time.”
