Scott Anvil Taper

The Scott Taper Heel Anvil is an innovative design with a wider work surface, a full-size round horn, and a more compact design than most other 100lb anvils. This compact design holds more mass under the anvil surface, making it act and feel like a much larger, heavier anvil. The smaller footprint makes it a great choice for travel as well as a great workshop anvil. Great care has been taken with the round horn to ensure it is ground and finished symmetrically with no gouges or flat spots. A great choice for farriers and blacksmiths.

All Scott anvils are manufactured in a foundry in Texas. We use a proprietary blend of ductile iron that has all the properties needed to produce the highest quality anvils available today. We then grind, machine, heat treat, surface treat and paint each anvil in our Amarillo, Texas workshop.
