Mustad Rib

RIB hoof nails are designed for greater traction. The head has a normal rectangular shape, and fits perfectly into the fuller, but is extended and ends in a wedge-shaped tip. The head fits into the shoe as normal, but the top of the head forms a wedge, which protrudes above the surface of the shoe to increase traction. RIB nails are designed for horses that constantly need extra grip - for example trekking ponies in rough and varied terrain.
